What is FPHS?

The Fruitland Peninsula Historical Society was founded in 2010 by a small group of citizens who were interested in our region - known as the Fruitland Peninsula. It is bounded on the west by the St. Johns River, on the north by Dunns Creek, on the east by Lake Crescent and south to Seville. We have recently dedicated a facility to house our collection: The Margary Neal Jones Nelson Archives.

Where are we located?

The Margary Neal Jones Nelson Archives is in the former media center at Miller Middle School at 101 South Prospect Street in Crescent City. To get there, use South Park Street to enter in the rear of the school and follow the signs.
